- I have been working in Food Research for the last 20 years. About that time I also started my carvings. I was a Metabolic Research Cook at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon. I am married, and we will soon celebrate 27 years together. In January 2011, I took the plunge and took my early retirement. It has really been exciting for the most part. I am enjoying all the extra time with family and friends. Getting to travel when I want, has been very cool too. I am just starting up a new endeavor, along with my Food shop on Etsy, I am opening a second shop that will cater to the Bride, and all things for a vintage Wedding. The theme is Vintage Headwear. It will include Short Veils, Hair Sashes, Hats, and other beautiful repurposed new and old Bridal Vintage wear. Look for us soon.
Hi Lisa! Congrats on getting int he treasury!!! that is super awesome. I love your blog and will be starting one of my own this month as well. I have wanted to do that for a very long time and it is my goal for jan. Congrats again on the treasury and on the new blog.
